This was a college project where we were in charge of creating 5 illustrations based on an IP that has the potential for a sequel. For my IP, I chose to do a prequel to the Tim Burton movie, Corpse Bride. My story is about an alive and well Emily as she falls in love with Lord Barkis Bittern. Her father disapproves of their relationship so they must keep it a secret. This works for a while however, Lord Barkis Bittern has other plans. He only wants to marry her for money and so murders Emily on their secret wedding. This is of course when the original movie picks up and the story continues. The five illustrations consist of backgrounds and character designs. All this work was done in the span of one college semester and the whole project was turned in at the end for a grade.
